Golden blur

August 2020 - This summer has been a beautiful golden blur. One where all the days melt together. Where life is lived outdoors, as much, if not more, than in. Filled with sunshine and swimming and bike riding, gardening, cooking and enjoying the company of neighbors, friends and family. Fresh lemonade, berry picking, long naps, the beach, lots of cheese, lots of wine. Windows and doors wide open, sleeping to the crickets, catching lightening bugs, late night bonfires and gooey s’mores. We focused less on where we were going next weekend or next week and more on what we could do at home today, tomorrow. It’s the closest I’ve come as an adult to the magical summers of my childhood.
